Steel Core Spa Security Straps

Never worry about the security of your spa again with Steel Core Spa Security Straps. Whether you're heading on vacation or having a backyard barbecue with children around, these straps will keep your spa inaccessible and safely locked. Designed with home spas in mind, each 13 foot strap is made with patented s.e.w. steel encased webbing. This webbing is a blend of steel and cut-resistant fibers to form a strap which is harder to cut than steel cables and is practically impossible to remove once locked.

With a simple key-locking design, it's easy to lock and unlock the spa as you wish while deterring unauthorized spa use. Steel Core Spa Security Straps can also be used to secure your spa cover in high wind conditions to help prevent damage or injury. Does the job...but....

The Steel Core Spa Security straps do the job of securing your spa...no question. It's easy/straightforward to install as well. However, I do question if my vacation renters and housekeeping staff will understand how to loop the straps correctly to secure the spa. I have to look 2-3 times at the install guide to make sure I got it right. Wish it had a more simple locking mechanism

Great Hot Tub Straps

These straps are really the only answer for windy locations. They keep the hot tub cover secure.

Less to worry about

We all have worries that keep us up at night. The family spa should not be one of them. My spa cover from a well known manufacturer has, in my opinion, poorly designed locking latches made of plastic. It might frustrate a toddler trying to look inside a spa but it is no match for clever teens when nobody's watching. In my search for parts to "do it myself" I found these security straps. If time is money this solution represents good value. In my case with a stiff spa cover one strap across the middle worked out well. To get the cover to lift more than a couple of inches at corners would require significant cover damage. Instructions for installation of straps indicates use of both straps. The locking mechanism is not very difficult to use frequently and so much better than touching four different locks requiring walking around the entire spa. Less worry now about uninvited / unsupervised spa guests while retaining convenience for regular use. I agree with one reviewer that an option for longer straps or extensions that allow bolting to the surface a spa sits on would be much better. I might still figure out a way to do that for even greater peace of mind.
