WORKS! WOOWWW!!

I cleaned an old hot tub where the filter had never been replaced, had only been emptied once, and had never been purged (CRINGE). The tub was riddled with white flakes, spiders, debris, etc. Emptied it, pressure washed, and refilled with water and about a cup of chlorine. Appeared clean, but I knew better. I put two level spoons of Ahh-Some into an old juice bottle filled with hot water. Waited for it to dissolve. Maybe I should have only put one spoon full b/c the foam was running down the sides. I let the jets run without a filter for less than five minutes. Then I left it overnight. The next day, beginning at 11am, I purged and purged and purged and purged. As the gunk would come out, I'd go around the edges and wipe it with a reusable paper towel I bought from Dollar Tree. Spray the paper towel off and repeat. I also dipped a brush into the hot tub and used it to clean the cover while I waited for more gunk. Sometimes I'd stop the jets and wipe off as much as I could, including top layers of foam with crud on them. I did this all day long until the gunk stopped coming out. I drained, wiped and rinsed the walls, picked up all sediment from the walls and bottom with a sponge, and then I turned the pumps on for one second to make sure the water was out of the jets too. I refilled, and the freaking thing looks brand new!!!! Finished, exhausted, at 8:30pm! There's an Ahh-Some video on YouTube that helped me.
