E5 Spa Circulation Pump 74427

Laing E5 Circulation pump for Watkins Caldera, Hot Spring and Tiger River Spa brands.

Specifications:
  • Volts: 115V
  • Watts: 39
  • Flow Rate: Up to 6,000 gallons in 24 hours
  • Cord Included
Features:
  • Increased capacity and more energy efficient than previous models
  • Magnetic drive slowly slowly starts to insure that it's well primed with water.
  • Water lubricated that should not be operated without water in the spa. If the pump does run dry, it has an internal safety device (thermal cut-off) that will automatically shut it off should it overheat. You can reset the pump by turning it off for 10 seconds then turn it back on.
Additional Information:
  • This pump replaces the SilentFlo 5000 (Part # 72204) and all previous style single speed circulation pumps on all Caldera, Hot Spring and Tiger River spa models.
  • This newer model does not have the bonding lug as it is no longer required. Just make sure the green wire in the cord is connected to a grounding location inside the controller.
  • Also used in many more brands of hot tubs!

Good pump at a reasonable price.

I looked at several web sites featuring similar pumps. I chose Hot Tub Warehouse because they had good customer ratings and their price was on the low end of the range for the pump. The pump was exactly as advertised and is working great and is very quiet. I’m happy with my choice.

Works great in our 2007 Hot Spring Jetsetter

Easy to install but I needed to get some new special hot tub tubing as the new pump is smaller than the original thus I needed a tube that is 1 inch longer. We are so happy to have the spa up and running again!

My circulation pump was making a horrible noise and was causing my hot springs spa to not work and flash red on the screen. Put this in and good as new again.

So far so good.

This recirculating pump was installed on a Caldera spa and seems to be running fine. It replaces another recirculating pump that only lasted 2 years or so, but that pump being similar was from another source, not this vendor. Hoping to get some life out of this one. Would be better to have to threads already with connectors as it does come bare wire at the ends. But once connected up it ran just fine.
