Product Note:
- If your plumbing is 1-1/2" simply use a 2" to 1-1/2" Reducer Bushing to change the plumbing on the heater from 2" to 1-1/2".
- Does NOT include pressure switch.
The unit arrived with one of the temperature probes wired backwards, instead of wasting time and shipping it back. I fixed it myself and installed it. It works. But, it wasn't the unit. I thought I was getting. It's not an actual Balboa. It's from a different company, still made in the US but not the actual Balboa part. I thought I was getting not that I'm loyal to any particular brand however, the original part made by Balboa last at 11 years so it makes sense to want the same thing again. When I removed it, I found that there was a spring lodged in there from something else in the Jacuzzi, which is probably would cause the GFI trip so I'm guessing my original one was still good but I didn't notice this until after I had installed the new one so I guess I have a spare.
Product was received in a timely manner; instructions to remove old heater and install new heater made the process easy; heater was an exact fit and works great.
