Must-have for a well/hard water

We fill our tub from the garden well with ‘hard' water. These pre-filters are a must-have, they keep out a lot of limescale, rust, and other gross things that could deposit in your tub. You don’t notice until you are done, and see all the stuff on the inside of the pre-filter! We reuse a pre-filter once or twice (the water quality varies), but I try to have a new one on hand for a tub fill. Screws onto a garden hose, easy to use, makes adjusting the tub easier after a refill.

We bought this not long ago and it really helps keep the calcium from building up on the inside of the hot tub. Very nice!
