I ordered this pump to replace a 10 year old pump I could not repair because of bearing failure and lock up. Delivery was fast and installment easy even it was a newer model pump. Price was comparable to other offers I checked online. If you need, there is an instructional video from the manufacturer for the electrical hook up. Time will tell how long this pump will last.

I received the first motor & pump and the pump was damaged in shipping, pump mounts were all broken like it had been dropped. So I had to coordinate a return and subsequent re-shipment so the process took a little longer than expected and desired. I received the replacement motor & pump, no issues that time, fits perfectly, easy to install and is running well in my SPA now.

I did a lot of research and found theses pumps as replacement for Bullfrog pumps that were $100 more expensive. The only thing I did wrong was to throw out plastic materials including an anti airlock plug from one of the pumps before receiving the new pumps. The new pumps only had plugs, not a connector to my 1/4 inch hose for anti-airlock management. I bought a replacement for $18 and all is good.

I ordered the Gecko Aqua-Flo pump from Hot Tub Warehouse. The ordering process was frictionless. The pump was ordered on Friday, shipped on Monday and was received on Wednesday. It required a small modification (90 degree rotation of the outflow) that was easily accomplished. Also there was a slight difference in the wiring from the 12 year old pump being replaced (Common and High connections reversed). See pictures included. Trusted the diagram on the pump. Works great! The motor installed as a direct replacement for my 2.5 hp factory unit, very difficult to reinstall the rear mouting bolts due to the limited space of access to the bolts. This is not to be critical of the new unit whatsoever, more of a design flaw of the tub. Would be nice to have a wiring diagram with the unit however, although it plugged in easily, being certain of the high, low and hot lead colors and positions would be appreciated.
