HydroQuip Heater

I had some kind of hick-up with the heater after I installed it and when I turned the hot tub back on it wouldn't heat. I had voltage to the heater, but it wasn't heating. This heater has some kind of power down reset feature to reset it that I still can't find information about that apparently was keeping it from heating and after I cycled the hot tub completely off and back on it started heating and after two weeks now it is still working fine. This was a replacement for a different style heater, and I think it came out nice.

Leaked initially but got it working...

I needed a new heater replacement for a HotSprings Jetsetter (2001 J model, yeah I know it's old). Had to install it 'on a tilt' because control/pump cavity is not big enough. It had a small drippy leak right where the output pipe clamps to main body. I took it all apart and put back together re-tightening those six screws and ensuring the wide/long orange gaskets were seated well. Put in back in same orientation with no leaks. We'll see. I'm guess when I was trying different ways to install it, I might have twisted or torqued it (that's on me) But not sure. 2nd day running and everything seems to be going well. 120V set up and Hot tub is warming up nicely. Thanks!
