HydroQuip Heater Assembly for Jacuzzi / Sundance Spas 6500-402

I was glad to find this part still in existence! My only complaint is that the way it installs, the heater breaker reset button is facing the back of the main panel /circuit box and it is a pain to reach behind the panel to between the two to reset it if needed. It really should be located on the other side of the unit. Fortunately, I don’t have to access it, and other than that, the unit fits and works fine.

The heater came quite quickly, which is good for a winter hot tub repair! The form, fit and function was perfect match. However, the new one had a reset pushbutton that the original hadn't. Not a problem as the install and operation was unaffected by it. These guys are great. I highly recommend them.

Last one only lasted a year. I hope this one is better.

Says this is a replacement for 6500-402 for my 2010 Sundance 780 Camden, but this heater comes with a 1" riser out the back that creates space for the high limit reset button, which my original heater did not have. Because of the riser, it does not fit the same and puts unnecessary torque/strain on the control panel and surrounding plumbing connections. This is not shown on the image of the heater on the site.
