Waterway Executive Pump ME-40226-25

The Executive Pump from Waterway is designed to be versatile, durable and efficient. It can be used with all types of hot tubs and has specially designed wet end that provides efficient water flow and it can be rotated every 90 degrees for added versatility. The 56 frame motor runs quietly for a more pleasant hot tub experience and is thermally protected for added protection.

The right one

I am a mechanic and journeyman carpenter and I dislike electrical and plumbing. Then the wet end seal failed. Had to disconnect everything under the tub and remove the pump and wet end just to know what pump and wet end specs to order, but after that it was much easier trying to work in a small space about the size of a chest cavity. Get some GIANT adjustable wrenches or strap wrenches, always order new gaskets and o-rings, and put food grade silicon on the threads of everything so it is easier to torque the fittings without cacking them. It worked. No leaks. Took many hours, but saved $1000. doing it myself.
