The pump shipping to Hawaii was to much so we shipped to mainland where we visited then brought it back in our luggage free. Finally arrived home to catch up on things . So just today July 11 we were able to have installed by our son who is a licensed electrician.This was the second time in doing this process since we bought the tub used approximately 8 to 10years ago. It went in smoothly in an hour we had it going with water circulating, Sorry this took so long but if we could afford the shipping it would have been up and running sooner .
Didn’t use the rubber base made the pump to high for right alignment to pipes, just used the little round gaskets for cushion, no vibration.

Shakespeare comes to mind........."Much ado about nothing". You can still hear the motor across the patio, very similar noise level as the old motor. If someone wanted to take the chance, I don't, you could probably loosen the tie down bolts and decompress the rubber so it will absorb more vibration.

The vibration pads worked as advertised, the fit was correct for the pumps I purchased.
