Used it to address a leaking gasket connection. First application slowed it from a steady drip to a very slight trickle. May try another treatment to see if it can stop it all together. Seems to do what it is supposed to do.
I’ve ordered pumps from Hot Tub Warehouse in the past and have been pleased with the experience. This time delivery took longer than expected and the wet side of the pump is leaking from the upper connection.
In our application the only way to test proper working is to fill the spa and run the pump. Having replaced multiple motors/pumps/gaskets in the past, this is normally a pretty straight forward task. Unfortunately this time it appears the inlet side of the pump is defective and may require resurfacing to achieve a correct seal. In our case this means draining 850 gallons of clean water each time to reset, refill, and test the connection. Hopefully all will work on the third attempt after the pump’s inlet mating surface has been reworked.
My hot tub has needed this heater replaced about every year and a half. The price was much cheaper than the manufacturer site. Got within a week. Same factory replacement. Hope it last!...
