This heater worked as a replacement in the 2004 Coleman Maxx C471 spa. Make sure to use 1/4" open end wrench to keep the heater element posts from spinning when loosening the nuts attaching the copper straps to the controller board. The heater has been running for 3 weeks so far with no problems.
These jets work as a replacement for the original jets in the Coleman Maxx C471 spa. I found some other jets on Amazon and probably from China that were not of the same quality (i.e. finish, tight fit).

Unlike the photo on the product page, what arrived was actually a complete kit for replacing our Balboa 5.5 kW M7 heater. It included everything seen, plus two high-voltage wires with a connector attached to the studs on the heater housing, plus the connection for these two wires to the circuit board, plus two seals and silicone sealant for the slip housings.
I'm glad the voltage lines were already firmly attached to the studs, as this prevented me from having to tighten those nuts myself with the possibility of damaging the epoxy seals.
The brand seen in the product photo is Therm Products. This is the parent company of Balboa. What actually arrived for us was the Balboa version. We would have been fine with either one, as they both qualify as OEM.
The product came with instructions, and installed easily. FYI, the instructions say to put dielectric grease (not supplied) on the voltage line connections.
Our exact heater model is 58083. The unit has been installed for two weeks, and is working as expected.
Only problem is i bought one without the pressure switch now i have order one the goes inline, got it bypassed for the time being
Thought i ordered incorrect heater and the associate had knowledge of the product and gave me info on how to use heater i ordered eliminating the need of returning and waiting on product.

Got my new pump installed and hot tub back up and running.
Our spa pump went out during the Christmas holidays, and when I ordered the pump we received an email saying they had it in stock but were doing inventory and it would not be immediately available, so they offered to let us either cancel the order or that they would ship it as soon as the inventory was done. We chose to wait on them, and the pump was delivered 2 days after closed inventory. The plastic piece from the pump body where the wires go out was broken off during shipping, but we don’t think that will affect much. We are happy to have the pump installed and working again, since winter where we live can be extreme, and lugging firewood makes sore muscles. Thanks for the help!
Your service has been good. There are no issues there. My only issue is with the part. When they work things are great. There are nine in my hot tub. I find myself buying multiple replacements every couple years. There is no real stress on these parts, as a designer I'm guessing the problem lies in material. Whatever the root cause it is just disappointing.
